Munich receiving service, including the cash desk, is closed until further notice. Mail items are accepted at the gate, cash deposits are currently not possible.
|The enquiry units, search rooms, document receiving services and cash desks at all locations of the DPMA will be reopened from 1 June 2022. Face-to-face advice and initial consultations for inventors are provided subject to appointment only. Any mail and items addressed to the German Patent and Trade Mark Office can be handed in at the receiving services at all locations. Likewise, it is possible again to make payments in cash. Please check our opening hours before your visit. Outside our opening hours, you can use the automated mailboxes in Berlin and Jena. In Munich, you can hand in any mail and items at the reception desk.|

Please note that procedural acts such as applications, requests, communications concerning proceedings of the Arbitration Boards at the DPMA and under the CMO Act (Verwertungsgesellschaftengesetz) cannot be submitted via e-mail; submission is only admitted by post, fax, using the DPMAdirektPro software, or in person to be legally valid.
