Online filing of IP applications

File IP applications online with the German Patent and Trade Mark Office (DPMA).

This option is available for:

• patent applications (German, European and PCT)
• trade mark applications
• utility model applications
• design applications
• oppositions and appeals in patent matters
• appeals in trade mark matters
• direct debiting mandates.

Of course, you can still file your applications on paper.

Costs

The use of DPMAdirekt is free of charge; the fees for the electronic application are lower than the conventional application on paper. However, costs may accrue for the signature card.
